Mukesh Ambani is an Indian business magnate, investor, and philanthropist. He is the chairman, managing director, and largest shareholder of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), a Fortune Global 500 company and India's second most valuable company by market value.

Although he has never been an executive at any major corporation or government post in India or abroad, his companies have been involved in industries such as energy production and telecommunications since early stages. In Forbes 2015 list of The World's Billionaires he placed at number 95 with wealth valued at $34 billion US dollars.

Gautam Adani

Gautam Adani is an Indian businessman, born in Mumbai. He is the founder and chairman of Adani Group which has interests in power generation, logistics and ports as well as petrochemicals.

He is also one of India’s richest people with a net worth of $30 billion as per Forbes magazine's list of billionaires released on May 1st 2018.

Gautam Adani became India's richest person after he overtook Mukesh Ambani by becoming a part of Forbes' list for 30 years running until 2018 (he was ranked at number 26 on this list).
